My 1st visit to 1st Avenue Mall, Penang was rather disappointing. Many shops are still under renovation and vacant, even the new Starbucks outlet.
But I witnessed something interesting, the coffee battle.
Which brand would you prefer and why? In general Starbucks has an upper hand in terms of their effort to engage fans further before opening using a more interactive approach displaying their coming soon message with extra information like this:
But seriously to all Starbucks fans, when was the last time Starbucks Malaysia tweeted you back or replied your comments on their Facebook page?
If you know me long me long enough, there's a few labels about Jason Gan: social media evangelist, marketer, Starbucks fan (big one). Since my first tumbler I promised myself to reward myself every now and then (mostly every time I get new project) but there was no nice design for quite awhile, so this is considered a compensation after quite awhile, and I think I still owe myself a few.
